Bini

Bini is a beam projector and speaker unit that allows the two components to be used independently. It is designed with the intention of reducing electronic waste while improving user convenience and versatility. Since reducing e-waste has become an important product design standard, using a modular system would allow the parts to be replaced without purchasing a completely new product. Bini can be separated into two parts: the upper component functions as an angle-adjustable projector, and the lower component can be used as a standalone speaker. Additionally, each part of the projector can be magnetically charged on its own. The top of the beam projector uses an opaque material to conceal internal components, creating a clean exterior that enhances its design. The focus adjustment section features intuitive icons for ease of use. Bini's packaging is eco-friendly, requiring minimal resources while maintaining a sleek finish. It emphasises sustainability by using recyclable and biodegradable materials. The package includes the charger, product manual, and the main Bini device. With new devices being released every month, electronic waste is becoming a significant issue. Bini's modular design offers a promising solution to minimise waste and improve sustainability, with the goal of being an innovative answer to this problem.
