Bolichwerke – Form folgt Funktion 2018

This calendar, entitled “Form folgt Funktion” (Form follows function), places the lamps from Bolichwerke in the context of Bauhaus architecture. The 12 motifs show what the products have in common with the minimalist art movement: a love of purism, of clear forms and of materials. The lights are staged graphically as three-dimensional grid models superimposed by images of modernist architectural structures. The use of natural paper as well as a binding made from two bulldog clips on black MDF gives an air of simplicity. The elegant black and white colour palette is partially overprinted with neon yellow.
