Departure

This work announces a graduation exhibition of design students in Kaohsiung. On the poster, a piece of sketch paper, torn off and discarded in the air, symbolises the end of student days. A distinctive feature which makes the motif stand out is its fine graphic nuances. They are the result of an elaborate printing process using two-tone printing and silver screen printing on the front, and white screen printing on the back. By showing the joy of experimentation, the poster also refers to the birth of ideas and the vigour of creative work in general.
