The new web portal of the Digitales Deutsches Frauenarchiv (Digital German Women’s Archive) presents an overview of the issues, biographies and achievements of the German feminist movement, spotlighting how much it took to overcome obstacles. An attractive layout and responsive web design deliver interesting content to researchers and students. They can navigate through a relationship network and taxonomies to find material relevant to them, with individual topics explained briefly. A faceted search guides the user through over 500,000 objects. Digital images and multi-page publications can be viewed in high resolution.
