Dongpo Flavor

This elaborate food packaging was designed especially for Dongpo, a Chinese pork speciality. The creative inspiration comes from Su Tung-Po, a poet from the Song dynasty and the main figure of Dongpo culture. The box with two drawers pictures the scholar holding a fan and includes, among other things, a gift box that can be filled with different products and accessories. The carry-bag design is based on traditional Chinese shopping baskets and uses a special paper which conveys a strong traditional feel. Decorated with bamboo grains, the packaging design embodies the Dongpo style.
