Duobo is a capsule coffee machine inspired by a lunar lander. It offers an immersive brewing experience enhanced by a 10.1" FHD display. Combining the convenience of capsule coffee machines with the customisability of espresso makers, users can extract and blend two capsules of their choice with precise control over temperature, volume, and blending ratio via a dedicated app. Duobo turns everyday coffee brewing into a full user experience. Mechanical actions like the cover opening, capsule tray insertion, and extraction mimic the stages of a space mission. Animations of spacecraft boarding, campfires, and planetary exploration elevate user immersion during operation. A universal capsule tray supports both coffee and tea, unlocking thousands of flavour combinations. The intuitive interface enables easy blending without complexity. The design references lunar landers, with a clean white body, a cockpit-style window, integrated chrome legs and tubing, a reflective and matte base, and footprint-shaped non-slip pads. Designed for a wide range of consumers, from casual users seeking convenience to enthusiasts pursuing personalised taste profiles, Duobo's innovative design stands out from traditional coffee machines.
