Lighting is critical in elevator environments and is a major factor that influences elevator interior design. Because of the need for continuous operation 24 hours a day, prompt maintenance is required whenever the elevator’s interior design changes or the lighting requires repair. LED lighting, which is widely used today, is analogous to an electronic product. Unlike typical lamp replacement, when LED lighting breaks down, the repair must be handled expertly, and the elevator must be stopped while it is being repaired. The EL-KIT, however, is composed of a structure and lighting module optimised for the interior of the elevator. It allows for easy lighting repairs and various lighting design changes without requiring elevator stoppages, while also providing more opportunities for interior design expression through its lighting modules.
