Endless Letter is a graphic series featuring hundreds of excerpts from original letters written during the Second World War, along with illustrations by students from the RANEPA School of Design in Moscow. Emotional quotes from frontline missives were shared line by line in stories, creating a kind of “endless letter” with an original score by the Russian composer Max Makarychev. These quotes were carefully selected from thousands of letters and are displayed in a specially designed typeface. Each written symbol is a precise copy of handwriting inscribed by veterans of the Second World War on the walls of the Reichstag building in 1945.
