Future Format Elements

“Elements” is a publication by the Greek printing company Future Format, which has been producing modern printed products of high quality and aesthetics since 1980 combining art and typography with technology. The corporate publication was developed for B2B sales to inform business partners about the typographic techniques and services offered, while communicating the new identity. With the goal of presenting the extensive expertise in a way that best conveys the company’s values, the corporate brochure was conceived as a collaborative tool that showcases all of the knowledge and expertise that has been created over the decades through the interaction of people, techniques, materials and modern technologies. Thus, the carefully and artistically designed publication is a document that not only explains typographic terms and techniques, but also makes them visible and tangible. It unfolds a narrative focused on functionality and shows how visual systems are part of the publication’s linearity. The production combines a variety of papers and techniques and shows the different levels on which typography is used.Statement by the juryThe design of the publication, entitled “Elements” inspires through the sophisticated craftsmanship with which it communicates the mission, values and identity of the Future Format printing house. With a very appealing and vividly implemented layout, the publication not only credibly conveyed these values to readers, but also gives an insight into the team’s enjoyment of their diverse, conceptually and technically demanding work.
