Gaolta

The main character of the short film “Gaolta” is a young woman who lives with her father. After the death of her mother, she and her father seem to have a good routine together. Now, planning on moving out, she is worried her father will be lonely without her. After a night out, she wakes up in someone else’s bed and tries to sneak home before her father wakes up. As she comes within sight of the house, she watches him quietly sneaking a woman out from their home and realises he will be okay without her. The story relates the drama in an unexcited tempo up to its surprising end.
