The Honeywell Miller Söll VR670 is a detachable fall arrester that connects the sternal ring of a fall arrest harness to the GlideLoc vertical rail system. The device allows for the smooth and uninterrupted ascent and descent of ladders. Hooking onto the rail is possible at any point on the ladder, which is useful for inspection and repair work and crucial for rescue operations. The unit is designed in such a way that it fits smoothly into the workflow. According to the jury, its “user-oriented functionality ensures more safety and increased comfort when working at heights”.
