The Hyundai Motorstudio Busan is located on the grounds of a former steel cable factory. For this reason, steel cables and frames dominate the architecture, which offers wide, open rooms for various exhibitions and activities. A central visitor area surprises with an open-plan design with only a few supporting pillars in a space measuring 90 metres in length and 10 metres in width. This space can also be viewed from above, thanks to an elevated walkway. The use of recycled materials from the automotive industry for floor surfaces and furniture underscores the project’s focus on sustainability.
