The new iPad’s 10.9" Liquid Retina display extends to the edges, opening up more screen surface with no real increase in the size of the tablet itself. The front and rear cameras have been optimised and cooperate with dual microphones that pick up audio from the camera being used and minimise noise. An outstanding video experience is delivered by the new landscape stereo speakers and larger screen, with its resolution of nearly four million pixels. “We were impressed by the iPad’s slim design, minimalist styling, extraordinary colours and pioneering use of technology,” the jury stated.
