The Kite Ceiling air-conditioning unit makes use of the Coanda effect and distributes the air indirectly throughout the room when the air baffle is closed. Other variations are possible, as the air baffle can be opened from 0-150 degrees. If it is fully opened, heating and cooling take place faster. Replaceable filters against dust, bacteria, odours and mould improve the air quality. The unit floats like a kite on the ceiling and “delights with its puristic design which harmonises with any type of interior style,” the jury found. “It also offers excellent user comfort with its well-thought-out air distribution concept.”
