Little Lit

Little Lit wobbles and lights up with a slight touch of the hand but it will never lose its balance. Pivoting on a single fixed point, the lamp moves in an oscillatory motion. This movement is detected by an accelerometer sensor that triggers a controller to light up the lamp. To turn off, simply tap the crown of the lamp where a touch sensor is installed. Little Lit may not be light as a feather because the additional weight of the battery (130 grams) anchors down the base of the lamp to keep it in balance. However, this lamp is still compact and handy, so that it can be easily moved around instead of being confined to one room. Little Lit then becomes a trailblazer in a forest and the wilderness. This little lamp also illuminates a space in a pleasant way that isn’t glaring for the eyes. As such, it functions as the perfect night lamp. Red Dot Award: Design Concept | Concept | Illumination
