Memory Loops

Memory Loops is a virtual memorial for the victims of National Socialism created by the city of Munich. Collages of voices and music were developed from the transcriptions of historical and recent audio material from victims and surviving witnesses. The collages are thematically linked to the topography of National Socialism in Munich. This audio artwork was realised in collaboration with the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation. It consists of 300 German and 175 English audio tracks, which are made available on www.memoryloops.net for listening and free download.
