Migrant Workers’ Generation

Migrant workers from Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand have become an undeniable part of Taiwanese culture. This educational work employs numerous images in order to illustrate the lives of the migrants and the difficulties they face in Taiwan. Chubby comic-style characters exemplify the workers’ cultures of origin, their religious beliefs and daily business. Well-suited to arouse public interest, the versatile imagery appeals to the viewer by spreading a relaxed, friendly mood.
