Milo: Supporting Pediatric Patients through AI and AR
Milo is a companion app that uses AI and AR to support children during extended hospital stays by encouraging emotional resilience, hospital adaptation, and active recovery. Children can interact with an AI fox for voice and text conversations, task reminders, and AR-guided hospital tours through playful activities. A moderated social forum facilitates peer support, alleviating stress and isolation during recovery.
