This blood glucose meter with a colour touchscreen has several pedagogical properties. Cartoon characters help one to better understand the meaning of the test results. In the case of good results, the user is awarded points that can be collected to progress to a higher level, like in a game. The meter is covered in silicone, which both protects the meter and makes it feel soft. The LED light at the test strip opening facilitates use even in low-light environments.
