The goal of Moment is to enable mobility independence for visually impaired people. For this purpose, it offers the possibility to prepare routes to unknown places and increases safety in orientation through precise tactile cues. The product consists of a wearable device and a mobile app. The user defines the desired route via the app. It is also possible to create user-defined routes between multiple locations and save them. When in use, the wearable then sends signals warning of obstacles on the walking path thanks to it being equipped with dual haptic motors.
