MX Mechanical is a full-size wireless keyboard with flat mechanical keys. The user can choose between three different switch types to get the optimal combination of feel and sound. The key caps also feature two different colours, enabling better orientation when typing. The jury particularly liked the fact that the keyboard’s backlight automatically turns on when the user’s hands approach and automatically adjusts to the lighting conditions. “This function is extremely clever because it saves the battery and extends the operating time,” the jury remarked.
