The OceanSafe textiles follow the cradle-to-cradle principle for which they were gold-certified: they are produced in a sustainable value chain and are 100 per cent biodegradable after use. The entire production is based on the concept that when no pollutants enter the lifecycle, no pollutants can leave the textiles. Natural fibres from hemp or cotton are combined with synthetic fibres based on petrochemicals or polymers. This results in materials that are aesthetic and pleasant to touch.
