For more freedom on the go, the Oticon SmartCharger recharges Oticon hearing aids and protects them from ambient conditions. The built-in powerbank stores energy for at least three full charges, while the drying function automatically removes moisture from the hearing aids. Since older hearing aid wearers may have dexterity issues, particular care was taken to ensure that opening the protective cover and inserting the hearing aids so that they connect with the charging outlet is easy. A discreet LED display on the back of the unit shows the charging status in a way that can be intuitively understood.
