Patchwork

The use of different industrial materials together on the table in a coplanar manner was the inspiration for Patchwork Table. The designer set out to create a table that could be produced in different sizes with the same standard parts and the flexibility of using different materials; all while serving different functions and exhibiting a random pattern without repeating the parts. In putting together the table top, all kinds of materials like marble, wood, acrylic, glass, leather, fabric, concrete, metal and more can be combined in hassle-free harmony. The user can change the pieces and adjust the aesthetic to their own liking. Since table tops are prone to deformation on an horizontal plane, this can be resolved very quickly by replacing the affected piece.
