PeopleFund is a fintech marketplace lending platform that aims to provide financial freedom to more individuals. Before showcasing its strong business results and corporate reporting, the 2019 annual report provides a visualisation of the financial problems experienced by people in South Korea as a result of the strict credit conditions set by conventional banks. Using tiered pages with cut-out images that lead from one page to the next, it depicts examples of solutions. This introduction sets the tone for the rest of the report and gives readers a better understanding of the platform’s motto “Extraordinary finance, for the ordinary”.
