Psychedelic Font

This set of fonts, in bold black-and-white with few red highlights, has been conceived for the cover of trip hop albums. Trip hop incorporates a variety of sounds, such as samples of spoken words, electronic noise and slow, bass-heavy beats. In line with the edgy music, the typographic design takes an experimental approach. By distorting letters or turning them into abstract patterns, an erratic typography is created which alludes to abundant unconscious activities and lends the packaging a psychedelic touch.
