Records Of Old Objects Of The Republic Of China

返回 Download

Each passage of time, transformed into an old object, assembles a minor historical memory. Every old object, no matter how large or small, has a story to tell — a feeling, a time period that records every detail of life, the mark of the times, and the vicissitudes of history. Some vintage brands and items can still be found on the market today, while others have slowly faded away. This work depicts these old objects using the engraving illustration technique on office supplies, allowing them to return to the stage in a more active and youthful attitude, radiate the power of healing people, reflect nostalgia, and pay homage to the old objects. DuPont paper was chosen as the primary material for the work because it is waterproof, breathable, lightweight, strong, tear-resistant, puncture-resistant, highly reflective, diffusely reflective, UV-resistant, and unique in texture and touch. Furthermore, it is environmentally friendly, recyclable, and compatible with most printing technologies, making it suitable for a wide range of processing techniques.
