S8 Pro Ultra/G20

The S8 Pro Ultra/G20 consists of a robot vacuum cleaner with a base station that cleans, charges and empties the mobile unit. For vacuuming, the robot boasts a suction power of 6,000 Pa, while its mopping function uses high-frequency vibration and powerful pressure at 3,000 cycles per minute. These functions can also be combined and followed up by a drying process. The robot vacuum avoids obstacles autonomously and intelligently – even in the dark – thanks to a LiDAR-supported, responsive detection system. Cleaning procedures, schedules and areas can be defined via an app. The jury was impressed by not only the technical implementation, which combines a variety of useful functions, but also the attractive visual design, featuring a subdued colour scheme with red accents.
