Shear Reduction

The Shear Reduction shoe features an outsole which reduces the shear forces within the shoe. In intense sports, sudden force movements occur in combination with many fast fine-motor movements. Therefore, the footwear must react to the movements of the athlete to avoid injuries and optimise performance. The concept of the Shear Reduction shoe entails so-called copolymers, with spiralshaped lamellae, which can rotate up to 45 degrees as soon as the foot makes a rotary movement.
