Spider

Spider is one of a series of out- and indoor tables made of high-pressure compact laminates, the filigree nature of which is characterised by a marked black and white contrast. The foot truss construction partially penetrates the table top and, by being visible, emphasises the minimalist design concept. Despite the formal reduction, the contrast between material and form creates a strong emotional reaction. The rigorous appearance of the compact table top has its counterpoint in the flowing lines of the overall shape of the table. The result is an innovative design expression of form the lightness of which is captivating.
