The appearance of the Summilux island range hood is characterised by a combination of highly polished stainless steel or copper and satin glass. The lighting also plays an important part: an LED ring illuminates the cooking top; LED strips provide the surrounding light which is evenly spread and can be dimmed. The light is reflected from the metal ring, making the Summilux the focal point of the kitchen. Integrated sensors in the hood register type and quantity of vapours and adjust the extraction power accordingly.
