Low-energy LED light bulbs with high energy efficiency ratings are particularly recommended for areas in which installation, maintenance and repairs are difficult to carry out, as for example in tunnels. Traffic systems and transport routes must be able to withstand different climatic and adverse conditions. In order to avoid traffic disruptions, lights that have a long lifespan and a low breakdown/failure rate should be used. This applies in particular to tunnels, as these are often exposed to fog and condensation and maintenance work, as well as repairs are more difficult to carry out there than on normal roads.
