TAIKOO LI XI’AN OFFICE in Xi’an, China, is an urban development project with local references in the Anren Fang historic district. It is a multifunctional workspace and exchange platform with a garden complex that was formerly a school sports field. Archaeological materials such as cobblestones and historic bricks are incorporated into the design. The flexible interior design with artistic elements received the highest WELL certification for workplace health. Its indoor climate and light are optimised by state-of-the-art building technology.
