Board Game

Taiwan Truku

This board game focuses on the Trukus’ spirit and their attitude towards life. They are an indigenous Taiwanese ethnic group, whose living environment is presented on the game board, which is actually made of fabric. Mountains and rivers are designed in dark blue, while gold symbolises precious materials and cultural value. The playing pieces are made of laser-cut wood, while the playing cards show illustrations which reflect the culture of hunting. The elegant font design of this game is inspired by the curved, slender shape of the Trukus’ hunting weapons.
