In 2014, the Berliner Philharmoniker founded its own music label, and in doing so broke new ground in the marketing of classical music. A timeless and elegant corporate identity was developed for the label. The packaging design is derived from the orchestra’s logo and encompasses nearly all music media formats: vinyl, CD, DVD, Blu-ray and downloads. A music book allows lovers of classical music to experience the music of this philharmonic orchestra in an individual way. A handmade vase by the renowned KPM Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur was created especially for the cover and booklet design and is itself available as a limited edition.
