The Defined Life

These posters show animals presented in a surreal, almost mechanical way. Simple black lines denote the most fun-damental identifying characteristics, for instance the trunk of an elephant, consciously emitting elements and body parts that appeal to our emotions. The observer is encouraged to tackle the much-reduced presentation without the help of simple and common definitions. The aim of the illustrations, which use the stylistic device of irony, is to do without defined attributes and to once again experience life in its original and natural state.
