The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown Incheon Airport into crisis. To safeguard the airport’s continued existence, a scenario for the future was developed in which aviation services are complemented by a general commercial zone with the feel of an events venue. Inspired by the kind of presentation models used by architects, the ideas for future construction projects were visualised using the medium of paper in the corporate film. The sophisticated objects were hand-crafted, filmed using stop-motion techniques and then combined with computer animations. The result is an aesthetic which melds the old with the new, just as the planned construction itself does.
