Tokyo Centennial Story

“Tokyo Centennial Story” is a series of pastries available in traditional flavours which have been around in Tokyo for 100 years. In order to reflect this, the design of the packaging follows the aesthetics of the Japanese Taishō era of 100 years ago, and interprets the cultural styles of Taishō Roman and Art Deco, which were predominant in that period. Based on this, the colour concept of the pastry boxes is both vivid and retro. The packaging shows numerous decorative details which reflect a peculiar feeling of nostalgia. The appealing design is especially targeted at customers who would like to buy a souvenir.
