UIH Prose Poem to Ellipse

United Imaging Healthcare is a provider of high-quality medical equipment. The aim was to create an emotionally appealing exhibition space for the new production site in Wuhan, China. The elliptical exhibition room was placed at the heart of the impressive showroom and conveys a poetic minimalism. The design benefits from the eight metres high ceiling and a 3,000 sqm area free of pillars. The space is virtually devoid of visible seams or load-bearing elements. Along with the predominant use of white and grey, matte surfaces prevent reflections. Upon entering, the visitor thus becomes a tiny dot compared to the vast space and the machines presented.
