Was wir wollen

The documentary “Von den ersten und letzten Dingen” (Of the first and the last things) is part of the TV station 3sat’s philosophical series “Was wir wollen” (What we want) and deals with the first and the last things in life. Each of the individual stories is introduced by an animation. The ana-logue stop motion animations are moving collages rather than fully animated film sequences. They are supposed to approach the abstract topic of the movie without providing false certainty. The viewers receive enough room for their own thoughts and experiences.
