In designing this book, the objective was focused on highlighting the illustrative nature of Chinese characters by combining them with the letters of the English alphabet. The idea was to use the alphabet as strokes to write characters consisting of different stroke combinations. The expressive strength of paper plays a key role in the design concept. The book wants to convey the excitement to be found in the modern use of traditional craft and also in the adaptation of modern printing techniques.
