Zan Kee is a traditional Chinese brand of handmade pastry. The aim in the development of a new brand design was to convey the recognisable attributes of the industry while highlighting the regional culture of this brand. The design approach was to refine a graphic scheme which emphasises the creative focus of handmade food. To this end, the designers sought inspiration from traditional pastry-making methods. The varied graphics echo the contour of the moulds used to form pastries.
