The "Red Dot: Peter Zec Prize" will be awarded for the first time in 2024. As part of Red Dot Award: Design Concept this prize is donated and presented personally by Prof. Dr Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot. The prize money amounts to 10,000 Singapore Dollars.
It is open to current and former design students under the age of 30 as part of Peter Zec’s mission to inspire young people in design and creativity. The international design prize recognises, encourages and inspires the next generation of design professionals.
The concepts submitted should demonstrate future - orientated design solutions to problems that people encounter in everyday life or on a global level.
