In order to introduce and illustrate the topic of crowd funding – a business model in which members of a “crowd” can participate in innovative companies during their growth phase – this image film teases viewers with seemingly contradictory visual ideas. In a way that is rather untypical for the financial world, the film features a collage style of imagery and mixes stop motion with 3D animation, as well as photographs with illustrations. Due to many positive reviews, this film about the phenomenon of crowd investing thus became a phenomenon itself.
