Erdgeschichte

With a unique form and heavy weight, this book is reminiscent of a brick. Its cover is adorned by an actual high-fired brick tile, while a cardboard cover protects the inside of the book. With this design the book is referring to its content: prominent authors from the Ruhr area, such as Premier of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hannelore Kraft and two-star chef Frank Rosin have penned their own personal stories about the earth. The unique book contains stories, among other contributions, about the earth’s movement and atmosphere as well as its circumference, surface and gravitational pull.
