PLASTIC IN OUR FOOD
According to statistics from the United Nations Environment Programme, up to 8 million tonnes of plastic waste end up in the sea every year. But it is also widespread in the soil on land and can even end up in the food we eat. This design visualises the microplastics in a total of 20 types of food: The square outer shell is designed to deviate from the irregular shape of the original food and is combined with the appearance of the food itself.
