Sehnsucht und Fall – Filme und Videos aus der Sammlung Wemhöner

With the intention of making video art accessible to a wide audience, the exhibition “Sehnsucht und Fall” (Longing and Fall) presented films and videos by various artists from Wemhöner’s collection. The accompanying catalogue visualises the stories of burning desire and painful failure shown in the form of a flip book. The supplementary audio descriptions are set like scrolling text in film credits. The linen-bound book is housed in a slipcase with an aesthetic reminiscent of a VHS video cassette.
