This corporate design was created for the tourism office of Yun Gu, an old Chinese town, the picturesque architecture of which has been immortalised in numerous paintings. The bilingual word and figurative mark comprises both the Chinese character for the first letter in YUN and an abstract illustration of the eaves of typical roofs on historical buildings. The use for other media involves supplementing the character with additional graphic elements, thus creating a diverse overall image. The monochrome imagery against a gently coloured background creates a harmonious aesthetic appeal.
