The "Red Dot: Peter Zec Prize" was awarded for the first time in 2024. As part of Red Dot Award: Design Concept this prize is donated and presented personally by Prof. Dr Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot. The prize money amounts to 10,000 Singapore Dollars.
It is open to current and former design students under 30 years old as part of Peter Zec’s mission to inspire young people in design and creativity. The international design prize recognises, encourages and inspires the next generation of design professionals. Selection of the Peter Zec Prize follows in the tradition of discussion and evaluation by members of the Red Dot Jury.
