AI/LOVER tells the story of an ambivalent relationship between a care robot and its human counterpart using minimalist animation, symbolic imagery and narrative silence. The design emphasises the emotional emptiness and projection at the heart of the story and reflects the blurred boundaries between artificial empathy and genuine affection.
